Peer Review Process

The review process in Farmestra Journal is a double-blind blind peer-review. The editor will ensure that no authorship information from the reviewed article will be given to the reviewer, and also no reviewer's identity will be given to the author.

Peer reviewers have the right to provide input to the author to improve the quality of the published manuscript and the editor for editorial policy decision making according to their respective expertise.

Peer reviewers must inform the editor about their willingness to review the manuscript to be published. If they are not willing, the peer reviewer must notify the editor.

Peer reviewers must adhere to the principle of objectivity and avoid personal criticism of the author of the manuscript during the review process. All comments must be accompanied by clear and supportive suggestions.

Peer reviewers are not allowed to use unpublished manuscript material for personal use without the prior written consent of the author, under any circumstances.

Information and ideas contained in the reviewed manuscript are confidential and must not be distributed or used for personal advantage.

During the review process, the author and reviewer must not disclose any information about each other.

Decision:

The journal editor considers the reviewer's comments for the final decision. Manuscript decisions are grouped as follows:

- Accept the submission: if the manuscript will be accepted without revision

- Revision required: if the manuscript will be accepted after minor changes according to the review

- Resubmit for review: If significant changes are required to the manuscript. A second round of review is required for possible acceptance

- Reject the submission: if the submitted manuscript will not be published in the journal.
